Sotia Steka

Sotia graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2017, and gained some practical academic experience through a 3 month veterinary externship in the ophthalmology department of Aristotle University, and a 3 month Erasmus plus placement in the surgery department of Freie Universitaet Berlin.

She then worked in a busy first opinion practice in Cyprus for a year before moving to the UK in 2019 to expand her veterinary experience.

Sotia is currently working as a night veterinary surgeon and studying towards a certificate in emergency and critical care through Liverpool University.

She is passionate about helping animals in need and has volunteered in animal shelters and neuter campaigns in Cyprus, Greece, Thailand and the Caribbean.
