Lydia graduated as a veterinary surgeon in 2014 from Cambridge University. She has a particular interest in medicine and ultrasonography and has completed a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Small Animal Medicine). She also enjoys coaching veterinary students and new graduate vets. 

Lydia is currently Chair of the South West British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) committee, helping to organise regional CPD. Outside work, she is a qualified Rainbow leader in the Girl Guide Association and enjoys exploring the outdoors. 

Lydia adopted a stray black cat soon after graduating who brings a lot of joy to her life, despite stealing any unattended food!
