Andrew Rushent

Andy is the Deputy Head Nurse of the Bradley Stoke first opinion team. Andy graduated from the University of Bristol in 2017 after four years of study. He has a keen interest in small animal medicine, especially feline medicine, as he finds work up and nursing of patients with complicated conditions highly rewarding.

Andy gained his Nurse's certificate in medical nursing in 2021, which has allowed him to pursue his interests further and develop skills in ultrasound scanning, the anaesthesia of patients with a variety of medical conditions and the care and treatment of patients with i.e. tumours and cancers. Andy is primarily based at the Bradley Stoke hospital, but can also be found at the Rowe Vets Cat Clinic every Friday.

Outside of work, Andy is kept busy by his family and mischievous pets; a Bernese mountain dog named Bailey and his tabby cat named Steve.
