Rowe VET LOGO (BEST) Thornbury-Team-Banner

This is a small, friendly team treating dogs, cats and other small pets at Rowe Veterinary Group.

They are able to give the personal touch and get to know their clients very well.

A veterinary surgeon is always available throughout the day and you can ring and arrange an appointment to suit you so that you can combine a checkup and vaccine with a walk or visit to the shops.

The veterinary nurses are also available to discuss any queries with your pet e.g. diet, exercise, behaviour. They can also clip nails and apply bandages as required.

Briony Wiggans

Veterinary Surgeon

Briony has moved South to this area and originally came from Lancashire.  She came to the University of Bristol and qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2008.  She worked for two years in Dorset treating 'all creatures great and small'.  Despite very much enjoying wrestling with cows she has decided to move into small animals,  concentrating on dogs and cats, with Rowe Veterinary Group in 2010. She has a BSAVA Cerificate in Small Animal Medecine.

Briony got married in the early summer of 2015 and lives in Clifton with her husband David and an eight year old tortoise called George.

Ellie Cliff

Veterinary Surgeon

Ellie Cliff is a Veterinary Surgeon working part time at Thornbury since early in 2013.  Ellie has been qualified since 1996.

Ellie is back from maternity leave after having her third child, a baby girl called Emma.  Ellie works Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  Ellie is interested in consultations, dental care and operations but she also has a special interest in using acupuncture instead or as well as using other treatments and medicines that are available.

Kirsty Perry

Veterinary Surgeon

Kirsty graduated from the University of Bristol Veterinary School in 2012. She initially worked over the bridge in South Wales before moving closer to Bristol and joining Rowe Veterinary Group in 2014. She has always wanted to work in small animal practice and has a particular interest in investigating medical cases.

Kirsty got married in 2012 and has adopted a rather elderly, deaf dog who likes to potter around at home and makes regular trips to Rowe to have a fuss made of her!
