Nelson is the third generation of the Rowe family to work in the practice. Rowe Veterinary group was founded by Nelson's grandfather, Mr John Rowe in 1948. Both of John Rowe's children have worked at the practice, Richard is still with us as one of our partners while Helen retired from the partnership several years ago.
Nelson competes in Open team chases with local team "Berkeley R Us", on his 17.1hh chestnut thoroughbred "Fred". He has also competed in most equine disciplines in the past including polo and eventing up to BE invoice. In the summer months when Fred takes a break Nelson moves on to four wheels for his adrenaline rush. Having been European Champion in a Caterham 7 and now racing a Formula Ford 1600.
