Our Orthopaedic referral service is based at the Bradley Stoke Veterinary Hospital and is run by Mark Owen BVSc Cert SAO MRCVS. Mark qualified in 1987, he gained his RCVS certificate in Small Animal Orthopaedics in 1995 and was elected to AO in 2004. His services include:

• Fracture management using Internal Fixators such as Synthes clamp rod and external fixators such as the hybrid ring. AO/ASIF techniques are also carried out using Synthes LCP and the Kyon advanced locking plate.

• Arthroscopy for investigation and treatment of osteochondrosis, elbow dysplasia , shoulder injuries and meniscal tear management.

• Joint surgery including cranial cruciate ligament injury management using the Swiss TTA technique, patella instability management and arthrodesis procedures.

Rowe Referrals also offers an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) service which is invaluable in the diagnostic management of orthopaedic cases.
