Puppy Socialisation Classes at the Bradley Stoke Hospital

It is vital that your puppy is well socialised from an early an early age. He should be exposed to as many things as possible in order to develop into a well adjusted, easy going and confident adult dog. A well socialised dog should:
  • Be able to mix with other dogs happily - it is important that he is fully vaccinated before being allowed to interact with other dogs.
  • Obey simple commands
  • Be comfortable in a noisy, busy environment
  • Be comfortable around adults and children
  • Be happy to travel in the car
  • Be happy to be left alone
  • Walk sensibly on a lead
  • Allow anyone to take food from its bowl or mouth
  • Be happy to have his ears, eyes, mouth, paws and tail examined
  • Be happy to be groomed

You should not attempt to 'go it alone' when training your puppy's develpoment could lead to fear or aggression later on in life

To help you during your puppy's socialisation period we run socialisation courses for puppies agesd 3-5 months

The socialisation courses give your puppy the best start in life, helping him with general social skills, handling and basic training. He will also have plenty of fun in the process!
